Ian Coulter is a composer, pianist and songwriter Based in London. He is known for his ability to work across several genres and mediums. From film scoring to modern jazz, Ian Coulter's genre defying style knows no bounds. Ian Studied music at Newcastle University and graduated in 2014. Whilst studying he had scores performed by the Royal Northern Sinfonia and the Fidelio Trio. After graduating from Newcastle University, Ian turned his hand to film scoring. in 2015 he wrote an additional score and arranged original music for the feature film 'Kaufman's Game'. He also composed music for 3 short art pieces that appeared on Channel 4's Random Acts Website and scored a promotional video for jewellery designer Solange Azagury-Partridge. As well as composing for film, he has also written music for theatre, having worked with companies such as Willis & Vere as well as Police Cops. Ian has also written several of chamber works including 2 string quartets and several solo piano pieces. He has a Youtube channel with thousands of views and posts new content regularly.
